Local Info - About inSiteUK

A Viking Helmet

inSite started originally in Scandinavia as a sideline to Mark's work as an EU Project Co-ordinator after helping Copenhagen Business School set up their original site back in 1994. He made a website to put his own info on and ...

He soon found himself sought after as a designer of dynamic websites. Mark's Swedish pal, Carl, soon joined in and they are the founding fathers behind inSite. They later expanded to England and today, the twin companies of inSite are comprised of inSiteUK and inSite(Scandinavia).

Visit a Swedish site (with inSiteUK involvement) depicting the history of some famous people and the everyday life of The Swedish Island of Hven.

If you do business in Scandinavia and need a quiet secluded meeting place to hold seminars or training courses, then check out BackafallsByn, a truly idyllic spot for corporate functions.

Mark
Mark hails from East Anglia, the old Danelaw. He lives in rural Suffolk not far from the Norfolk Broads and considers the fine city of Norwich, the county town of Norfolk, to be his local "capital." He finds it bit saddening that the broad Norfolk dialect has now all but died out.

Mark's been a keen supporter of Norwich City Football Club ever since he can remember. That's why the UK branch of the firm, inSiteUK, is located there.

A creative dynamo and globetrotter, Mark was once a musician. That's how he and Carl met in 1968 in Sweden, at the University of Lund. Their first venture together was a studio in Lund in 1969, called Swinglish Design.

Since then, Mark has been Marketing Director for a record company, PR man and EU-Project Co-ordinator affiliated to Copenhagen Business School. As a consultant, he advised companies on joint ventures in developing countries, most recently in Ghana. He is a member of The Norfolk & Waveney Telematics Consortium and posted his first home page on the World Wide Web in 1994.
